Childbirth and Parenthood Preparation Classes
Expecting a little one soon?
Experiencing pregnancy, birth, and recovering from those adventures all while caring for a new baby can be overwhelming and daunting; especially if you are not prepared.
Think of all the ways getting ready physically, mentally, and emotionally for birth and postpartum life would benefit you and your family. Prenatal education classes can help you and your support person have a more easeful experience welcoming your new baby into the world.

Our childbirth preparation classes at Cocoon take a thoughtful exploration through the final chapter of pregnancy, how to better prepare for birth & and the postpartum experience, evidence-informed childbirth choices, common birth, postpartum, and newborn interventions, how to support physiological birth, navigating hospital birth including cesareans, newborn care, and establishing breastfeeding.
A great prenatal class for anyone who wants to have a more in-depth understanding of birth, their newborn, and the transition into parenthood. The class creates an opportunity to evaluate your core beliefs and values around parenthood and explore each topic with curiosity and wonder. All while building resilience to handle any unexpected challenges you may encounter.
